亲 kin by Shangri-La

·Visual Identity, Art Direction·

The Gift of Kinship Our identity revolves around “kin”, or 亲(qīn).
The Mandarin character for kinship. Shangri-La aims to not only treat our members like family, but also to extend our ties to their loved ones. So, we help our members immortalise the gift
of kinship and let our members pass it on for generations to come. Allowing their loved ones to enjoy the same privileges and rights as a
Kin of Shangri-La.

Mood
Unique elements from different heritage and
cultures are imbued into our identity across
different communications. From traditional cultural symbols to city-specific elements, each hints of the individual's unique heritage and lineage.

The Crest of Kin
Elements from each family are utilised to create unique individual family crests. These family insignias are engraved across
our members' assets.

The Lineage of Kin
One has to be chosen to be a Kin of the
Shangri-La family. A kinship bestowed and passed down; something that can't be bought with money. Each member's unique family identity are likewise designed across their family member's communication pieces. Showcasing the value we place in our
extended family.
